On the way up to the Boardercross

I broke a strap on my binding and thought I would
have to DNS.  But Larry Fraher ran down to Wave Rave
and purchased a couple for me.  Thanks Larry, I love you
man! (I know, I'm not getting your Budweiser.)

A view of the Slopestyle course

In the first round of the Boardercross event, I was bumped off
of the course and eliminated from the brackets.  So, I spent the
day freeriding, until Shelly's runs in the Slopestyle.

A view looking down from the highest peak as the
dreaded thunderstorm rolls in.  The ski area management
closed the area early for fear of lightning.

There was a full range of weather during this time.  We had rain, hail, sleet, snow and that nasty lightning.  Believe me, I was in a hurry to
get down from those heights.

This shot should give you an idea as to the pitch of the run that I
went down trying to escape the storm.

On my way back to the Slopestyle comp, I came across the
"Waterfalls".  I think this run is aptly named.

And then there was "Dry Creek"

Finally back to the Slopestyle to catch Shelly
